This webinar will showcase a custom-built fuel optimization platform designed to enhance operational efficiency and reduce emissions. Leveraging the AVEVA PI System and CONNECT, Asset Framework (AF), machine learning, physics-based models, and combinatorics, the platform integrates real-time industrial data with advanced analytics to optimize fuel usage across TC Energy’s US Gas infrastructure, including over 700 compression units. To date, the project has actioned 180 events to reduce fuel consumption and lower emissions by 54,000 metric tons CO2e, which equates to the removal of nearly 12,000 cars off the road per EPA standards.
